From The Root

In Arabic, nabati means plant-based: to sprout, to grow, to rise from the earth. From the same root comes manbat, the place where life begins, where roots take hold.

To us, Nabäti is more than a name. It is a return to the original taste of home, from family kitchens in Amman and the Levant to our restaurant on Keizerstraat in Rotterdam. Every dish carries that story: vegetarian Jordanian and Levantine cooking, made fresh daily, and every dish can be made vegan.

I honestly can't remember having any falafel better than this one, ever. Really really good. The hummus was also particularly good, flavorful. Obviously high quality ingredients. Very lovely people and a cute spot too!

I had the cauliflower bowl after asking the owner for recommendation and it was so delicious!! Loved the crispy feeling. The deserts were equally delicious and the homemade lemonade was truly refreshing (didn't get to take a picture). The owner was so kind to let me try a falafel while waiting for my order and even give me free desert and later water. I was able to charge my laptop and phone there aswell and so some work. Top service and staff, very human

10000% recommend this place! a little shop with beautiful food, high quality ingredients and honest prices. the owner/ staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed :) he made us a perfect selection off the menu and everything was fresh and delicious, coming back very soon!

Great tasty food, top location, wonderful staff! I stopped to buy a MAKALI sandwich to go, asked them to cut it in two halves so we can share. While waiting they even offered us a complementary "shot" of their lentil soup, so we try it. When ready, the sandwich was not only cut in two halves but also packed separately so we can both enjoy it on the go! Very satisfied with the service and the overall experience. The sandwich was very tasty, fresh and flavorful. Also the soup !! Will visit again for sure

The server was so nice! This lady (don't remember her name) was so kind and warm to us! She was kind, told us her favourites to help us order (I comply with her the brinjal is fantastic!) And we ordered so much food. All of it was amazing! The soup was a lentil soup served with some fritters which was yummy. We also tried "a bit of everything" which is exactly what it sounds like. The brinjal dish was great. The hummus had a great kick off sumac and the pita was lovely and soft. The tahini dip added just the right amount of spice to the sides! The oliver were well prepared! Beautiful staff! Three cheeryto them! Will definitely be going again!
